The Rhythm of Magic Wins World Championship of Magic Bid

Born and bred Houstonians, Michael Blanco and Jessica Cubelli, performing as The Rhythm of Magic, have just returned from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where they were awarded the FISM North American Championship of Magic bid to compete in the illusion category in The World Championship of Magic Competition to be held in Blackpool, England in 2012.  The World Championship of Magic is in essence, the Olympiad of magic and is held in different global locations every three years.  

Michael and Jessica, who are the second Americans from their category to ever represent the United States in The World Championship of Magic during the contest's illustrious 50 year history, have fused the timeless art of magic with the ultra-popular sport of ballroom dancing to create a truly one-of-a-kind theatrical experience.  Additional contracts awarded them in Pittsburgh will take them to Canada and Michigan in 2012.
